MAGS once again demonstrated its commitment to education quality by organizing a special training program for teachers on August 9, 2025, at the MAGS auditorium. The training was attended by all staff and faculty members, aiming to sharpen teaching skills and ensure more effective classroom delivery.
The program carried the theme “Speak to Inspire: Public Speaking for Educators and Global Teaching Strategies for Local Classrooms.” It focused on two essential areas: enhancing teachers’ public speaking abilities and equipping them with strategies to apply deep learning approaches in their teaching practices.
The main session on deep learning was led by Mr. Andi Gunawan, M.LIS, a highly experienced trainer in public speaking and an official trainer at ILLC. During the session, he highlighted the importance of continuous growth for educators, stating: “We cannot truly call ourselves teachers if we stop learning.” His words inspired participants to reflect on their own journeys as lifelong learners.
Throughout the training, teachers were actively engaged in discussions and practical exercises designed to improve both confidence in public speaking and mastery of interactive teaching strategies. The atmosphere was collaborative, with educators sharing ideas, challenges, and solutions on how to make learning more meaningful for students.
By holding this training, MAGS emphasized that the role of a teacher extends beyond delivering knowledge; it is about inspiring, motivating, and guiding students to become lifelong learners themselves. The event also underscored the school’s ongoing dedication to teacher development as a foundation for achieving the best outcomes for MAGS students.
This training not only enriched the professional skills of educators but also reaffirmed MAGS’s mission to provide a high-quality learning environment. With well-prepared teachers, the school ensures that its students receive not just lessons, but an education that nurtures character, critical thinking, and future readiness.
